#81 over at TTPHC and its an Anything Goes!

Good morning!

Did you have a lovely weekend?

Today over at Through the Purple Haze Challenges we are kicking off the week with #81 and an Anything Goes theme....so nice and easy..

They are sponsored by the lovely Janice from Scrappers Delights and the DT have a lovely selection of images for you to have a look at.

Scrappers Delights

This time around i had the image  Rosalie Fairy 1 which i had fun colouring up.

I tried to keep it fairly simple by matting and layering a few papers, and using a sentiment that i found in my stash...oh and a lovely leaf die cut and Recollections flower.

I used the following combo's

Skin E 000, 01, 11, 21
Hair YR 21, 23, 24, 27
Clothes TG 00, 01, 03, 05
Wings V 0000, 000 plus i squiggled with a couple of pink glitter pens and then glossed the wings over with a gloss pen and made them all shiny....

Thanks for looking.

#79 at TTPHC with Zuri Artsy Craftsy as a sponsor..

I had a beautiful digi from Zuri Artsy Craftsy called Nidia to play with this time around..a lovely cute image of a young girl blowing bubbles.

Zuri is a new sponsor over at TTPHC this week so hop along and have a look at the DT creations.

Zuri has lots of fluffy
cute animals to chose from as well as vintage, manga and chibi styles.

So here is my DT creation with Nidia for you...

I distressed the background with distress ink in greens and blues before adding in distressed penned flowers on long stalks.  I then added the digi using sticky foam pads and covered the bubbles in a glaze to enhance. The butterflies and pearls added as embellishment.

I used copics for her and used the following combos:

Hair YR 21, 23, 24, 27
Dress B000, 00, 01, 02
Skin E000, 00, 01, 21

Many thanks for looking...

Another Ching - Chou Quik project

My post this week is a few days late due to having the stomach flu but better late then never!  This is my second post to show off the lovely digis by Ching - Chou.

This week we are sponsored by  the Fantasy Art of Ching - Chou Kuik.

Who gave us some lovely digi's to play with...

You can find her shop and Facebook group by following the links below.

So this is what i did with the lovely digis we were sent!

Another lovely image that i totally enjoyed colouring.  I kept to the YR, B and E colour range from my copic collection keeping to three colours out of each group.
YR 21, 23, 27
E 0, 01, 11
C 0, 2, 4

I loved trying some different colour combinations for a change. Its the first time i have coloured a grey dress and it turned out not too dark and drab as they sometimes can.

Coordinating papers, flowers, sentiment and some bling and we have a cute card for someone. Oh and i just realized that a bit of G snuck into my colour combo G 03,05.

So this is what i did with the lovely digis we were sent!

This is a box that i upcycled.  It was a beautiful purple colour so i decided to make my colour scheme along the line of that colour and well it goes well with Love is in the air theme.

I papered the top and bottom of the box, added a double row of lovely crystals to the outside edge.

After i added the image to the middle i decided to add some lovely cream half pearls all over the top which came in a flourish pack and i just doctored it up a bit.

She was certainly a beautiful dig to colour and i totally enjoyed colouring her hair. I used three colour combo being E 00,,02,11 and 21 for her skin and BV 12, 15, 17 for the flowers and
 her hair is E 35,37,and 39.
I dotted perfect pearls in the background in corresponding colours.

I hope you like her!

Dragon Designs over at TTPHC this week....Spring theme

We have a Spring theme this week over at TTPHC and we are sponsored by Dragon Designs

With a $10 Gift certificate for the winner!

This is my DT make this week!

I just couldn't decide whether i liked it with or without the sentiment?

I made the background out of some sparkly mica and a water mister....such a shame the picture doesn't do it justice.
I enjoyed colouring the digi which is called Spring Flowers and available from the Stamping Dragon website.

My blue B63 copic decided to go a bit juicy so instead of panicking with the BLOB i decided to use it as part of my background and created more BLOBS!

I love the colours of Spring and ok these are slightly stronger than the usual spring colours but i liked it and somewhere someones spring day has  some decidedly spring/summer colours!

#73 New to You

Oh my goodness what a busy weekend!

It seemed like I had a houseful of children with the amount of cleaning involved, but it was actually just two.  My youngest and his tomboy best friend!  Boy can they make noise and mess like the best!  Saying that, it was great to hear the screams of laughter coming from them.

This week we were sponsored by the lovely Scrappers Delights…I really enjoy playing around with their cute images.

Scrappers Delights

The theme was new to you so I literally used anything that was new to me in the last month.

So that included Draco part of the lovely digi duo I had chosen to play around with.  Along with the papers, ribbon, metallic card and buttons! So this card is literally NEW!

I made two versions of this one…the one above a little tongue in cheek saying that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… he is a cute dragon but he looks kinda sad so I thought aha we will go the tongue in cheek route.  But then a little voice behind me said what an awesome card, wouldn’t mind it for my birthday! So I made up version number two exactly the same with a different sentiment.

So here he is with love …..

Next a close up of the wee chappie he is soo cute! And yes I know I have said that before lol.

Another close up of the buttons I included … i stacked two buttons and then added a green bling gem.

So there you have it a cute version with two different options of sentiment!

Enjoy

xx

A new year and our very first 2015 challenge at TTPHC

Hi there!

Have you all finished eating all of the lovely rich goodies we sneak onto our plates at Christmas?

Yes indeed...phew i didn't overeat but i did see a few too many roast turkey dinners!

This week over at TTPHC we are sponsored by Aurora Wings and we have all used the lovely Sprite collection .  Now these links are to the web page on the big old WWW but if you want the Etsy link here it is Etsy Aurora Wings

So onto my DT make.

I made myself a journal....hoping to write the daily things that go on in my life that makes me laugh or cry...the thing i hated the most was that my second entry of the year was to say my cousin had died at the age of 20 that day....so not the greatest of starts.

I used papers , paper butterflies, coloured doilies and chipboard letters in pastel colours.

Its a A4 book so the image is actually quite big although the photos were a bit meh! That time of year dull and dismal uggh ...will try and add some better ones later.

Colours used on the Bluebell sprite:

Skin E000, 00, 01, 02
Green stem YG 00, 21, 23, 25
flowers and outfit BV 000, 00, 01, 02, 08

Thanks for looking

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
