Lacey Sunshine and a game of bingo!

Hi there and welcome this week to our two team face off competition at Through the Purple Haze Challenges!  Both teams entered their creations this week and the winning team gets to win a prize!

Anyway i have a lovely little digi from Lacy Sunshine for you this week that i made into a box for treasure!
My Bingo line is three papers, ribbon and pearls!

Well i found a boa and decided to paper it completely in a script paper from a paper pad 12 x12 by DCWV called the Magnolia way, the next sheet on top was My Minds Eye 12 x 12 paper pad called 29th Street. And last but not least with the papers i used a K & Co Speciality paper.  I then mounted my lovely little girl pirate and just edged her with a light green distress ink around the edges.  I used a Spellbinders grand nestabilities large labels set to frame my pirate and the paper below.

I then did a layer of green ribbon round the box, then a cream lace and ribbon as a second layer and last but not least i added a cream pearl edging to it.
I finished her off by adding some pearls ont he top corners and some green rhinestones in different sizes which was immediately whipped away by my son for his girl friend...so bye bye treasure box!

My copic colours that i used this week were as follows:

Skin R20 R22 ,cheeks and lips...E21, E00, E000

The stampin chef facebook fan page challenge entry

Hi there i thought i would show you my entry for the Stamping Chef Recipes

Cover Photo

I had a little fun with this one as it is the first time i have done sepia colouring but all in all i think she turned out quite well....i used the digi  Scarlett Hunger

I used the following copic for Scarlett:

E 41, 42, 43, 44  and E40 as a halo around the outside.
I used Tea dye distress ink pad on the die cut and scattered straw on the tag/sentiment.
I used a lovely little 6 x 6 paper pad by Bazzill basics paper called timeline which i thought gave her the more timeless sepia age feel to the card.

I hope you like her and i would like to enter her into the following challenges:

Simply Betty Face book Challenge good vs evil

Hi there and welcome to my entry for the Good vs Evil Simply Betty facebook challenge with Spika the evil mermaid

Well here is Spika she is coloured in the following copic colours:
Fins BV25,29,23 and BV 11,13,17
Eyes BV 31,35
Hair BV 17 13 11
Skin YG 0000,00,01,03
and i also used a clear sakura glitter pen to give her a little shine along her fins.

I used some Black card and green pearlescent card from Papermill Direct, which i have used for the very first time and found it of a really god quality.  I used a really nice black frilly ribbon which i overlaid with green velvet ribbon and then a small piece of pearl string.  I then added bade to the gills mounted onto green pearlescent card and then added a couple of blingy disc down the edge to finish her off....Not the most complicated of cards but i felt she didn't need that!

I hope you enjoy her and hope to see you again soon.

Crafty Sentiments

Hi there everyone welcome to another monday morning! Does anyone else have  Mondayitis?

It always that little bit harder to get cracking on a Monday for me especially when i dont get on well with the heat...roll on a nice warm autumn!

Well this week we are sponsored Crafty Sentiments over at the challenge blog
Through the Purple Haze Challenges

Here is my make and it isn't the greatest photo as i was really naughty and went out for the day!

So i started off with Paper Cellar craft block in lovely pastel hues

I then embossed  pearlescent  card and distressed the risen areas with Tim Holtz Broken China distress ink pad. I then mounted summer breeze digi onto a slightly bigger scalloped blue oval.
I distressed a lovely die cut with hearts in it an i don't have a clue who made it but its lovely and i use it alot. I put a small foam pad either end and created a curve so it bows outwards a little...i did the same with the happy birthday ticket.

I then added a selection of paper flowers to the top left hand corner and either side of the ticket
and then used Baby blue Liquid Pearl around the edge of the scalloped design.
Behind the lovely hear die cut is a very gauzy ribbon with a silver trim through the middle.

Now i used some of the Promarker pens that are way out of my comfort zone a) because i am a Copic girl and ) i don't have many of them!

The colours i used were:
Hair -  Cinnamon,Caramel and Sandstone
Skin - Blush and Dusky Pink
Dress -  Artic Blue, Sky Blue and Duck Egg
Hair band -  Rose Pink and Dusky Rose

Well i hope you like my creation this week and i look forward to seeing again soon!

I would like to enter into the following challenges:
