#52 Anything goes with TTPH

Hi there what a wonderful weather we are having...i just came back from a week of camping and it was beautiful weather although a little hot for sightseeing it was just right for water fights!

Now onto this weeks challenge.....Anything goes.....nice and easy right?

I was lucky enough this week to have a digi from Aurora Wings to play with called

Japanese Oiran in Kimono Spider Lily (No-Skull Version)

Mitzi does some amazing work which is easily incorporated into your cards or blown up as large as you want it to make just as amazing detailed pictures....with lots of detail and the sky is the limit! I decided to water colour my image with my distress ink pads....which in concept is really easy. All you have to do is dab your ink pad on a tile or craft sheet and add a little water and it becomes a water colour ink! Which i have never done before so am a little unsure of the results really.

So i coloured her by using my TH distress ink pads as water colours and this card is really easy to do.....just a case of some paers that were distressed, a piece of purple ribbon and a few lilac half pearls

Oh and a birthday sentiment......not the greatest pics but all i have as i have mislaid my camera....i know where it is i just cant get to it till the car comes back from the garage tomorrow after stranding me at the beach yesterday much to the chortles and delight of my three sons!

#50 day 7 of TTPHC birthday celebrations

Ohhh its our last day.......but....

As i am still feeling quite in the birthday mood and am really pleased that we are celebrating our first birthday...and i have prizes...so bear with me and i will try not to confuse you....

Our last day of birthday celebrations over at TTPHC and we have Encino Stamps as our last sponsor this week and what a fabulous and hectic week it has been!

Well i was lucky enough to get to play with Freddy the frog who is available in digi and rubber formats. And to be totally honest i was a little stumped on how to colour him...well we know its greens right? well i couldn't find the right greens to start off with. But with perseverance i found the combo that i liked.

So i started with an 8x8 scalloped card blank and covered the majority of it in ripped stips of two blues and then frost the crest of the pond ripples.

i then got out my trust silhouette cameo that i have barely used and cut two lilies and some pond weed.

Last but by no means least i added my three Freddy Frogs.

I used a few different bits and bobs from Tattered Lace with this one.

I love the Couple die cut. This one was nice and easy as it just involved some die cutting and paper cutting to the required size and then stick it all together...very, very easy.

#50 Day 4 of Birthday Celebrations at TTPHC

Phew Day 4 of the TTPHC birthday celebration week and we are really enjoying this!

Now i am feeling quite in the birthday mood and am really pleased that we are celebrating our first birthday...and i have prizes...so bear with me and i will try not to confuse you....

So i had this rather cute William Pear...problem was i liked all of the Fruit babies lol. and you can find him here too as a Fruity baby bundle set 2!

I loved making this card and i think i chose just the right colour for his pear.

I started with an 8x8 card blank which seems to be my favorite size of late, don't get me wrong i like 6x6 but it just too small. I covered the whole card with an 8x8 piece of glittered card from First /editions Daydream collection. I then matted and layered a panel across the middle of the card using green glitter card, gold card and a piece of beige card...i also used that combination for matting William Pear. I also slipped in half a pale green square doily behind The digi to cover the left corner of the card.

I added three blingy buttons on bottom right corner, some green ribbon across the center and three bejewelled butterflies along with a sentiment distressed in Shabby shutter to the front for my embellishing.

#50 Day 2 of our Birthday week at TTPHC

Now i am feeling quite in the birthday mood and am really pleased that we are celebrating our first birthday...and i have prizes...so bear with me and i will try not to confuse you....

Today is day 2 of our birthday celebrations and we have the lovely Stitchy Bear sponsoring us today..

We all received paper packs by Panda Bear ...all available in the store. i was lucky enough to get to play with butterflies. these papers come in some lovely colours and you can readily resize them.

I decided to make a A5 card with two tea folded flowers from my papers.

Fairly straight forward i made two tea folded flowers....i covered the whole card in the lilac butterflies paper and then matted the pink on top and followed up by placing a piece of different tone pinks down the middle of the card.

I finished the card by adding a few embellishments ..... pearls on top right and bottom left of card and a little bit of bling on the sentiment....oh and a butterfly paper clip that was lurking in my stash.

#50 Day 1 of TTPHC birthday celebrations

Hi there and welcome to our week of celebrations to celebrate our first birthday over at TTPHC!

Now i am feeling quite in the birthday mood and am really pleased that we are celebrating our first birthday...and i have prizes...so bear with me and i will try not to confuse you....

To kick off our birthday week we are sponsored to by SBS.

Now i like Betty's stamps so much that i decided to do two cards for the celebrations.

The first one is Party Christian....and he was rather cute to colour like i said i love SBS and have a few...

I kept it fairly simple as boys cards don't want to be too busy...and the only embellishment was the happy birthday sentiment. I love the blue colours that i decided to stick to.

Here is a close up of him isn't he cute?

My next card was made using Birthday Goddess. Just ignore the candles i just happen to like this digi and found her appropriate to kick off our week of birthday celebrations.

Again fairly straight forward and not overly blinged up but i love the pink and blue theme.

Her hair turned out really well i love it!!

#49 at TTPHC and its monochromatic!

Good grief the time is flying by and next week will be

Through the Purple Haze Challenges First Birthday! Lots of prizes up for grabs that week as each day we have a different sponsor and we also have a sponsor giving away a digi to entrants...As well as a blog hop each day and if you leave love on those blog hops using the special word given you could win a prize for hopping every day! And it doesnt stop there most of the ladies are doing there own thing too....whether it we blog candy or a gift certificate...so a great way to celebrate our first year dont you think?

Ok so onto this weeks sponsor Whoopsiedaisy and the theme is monochromatic.

So i had this little cutie to play with and she is available on the Whoopsiedaisy website as a plate of four images two different images and both are in coloured or to be coloured...great value for money so click the link above and have a look see.

I chose to use my E's from my Copics and i couldn't believe the colours i could actually use, and not just those muddy browns and beige's we always associate with Earth tones.

I used a piece of handmade paper to cover my 8x8 card blank and then added DCWV paper's from the neutral card stack. Before putting that cute image on top. I then also matted and layered the sentiment with left over card stock from the papers i had already used so that the colour theme carried through the card.

My finishing touches were a few roses in beige's and hues of brown, a couple of pale beige butterflies and finished off with a line of 4mm beige half pearls on the sentiment and the backs of the butterflies.
