Non traditional wedding coloured dress

Good morning today we are lucky enough to be sponsored by:

Creative Creations Challenges.

This weeks challenge is Weddings! What does a  wedding meant to you? well besides the opportunity to dress up for a change and let my hair down to me it always means the commitment of two people who want to show to their friends and family that they want to move forward with their lives by taking the next step!

These  days people go for all sorts of colours with their gowns so i went non traditional by making a card showing a pink dress.

So i have a Saturated Canary digi called wedding bells which i think is totally gorgeous!

I had to be a little different and go non traditional with the colours

I used the following Copics to colour her in:

Hair YR 21,23,24,27
Skin E01, 00, 000 and R20 for cheeks
Dress RV 11,13,14,17
Flowers YG 93,95,97,YR02,00

I edged her with Tim Holtz distress pad in spun sugar and mounted onto some leftover homemade pink  card that i made using Brilliance pearlescent ink pads in Orchid and Purple and then sprayed Cosmic shimmer mist in Tarnished gold and Candy pink. I then mounted onto foiled card, handmade paper laced with gold thread and finally onto a pink sheet of script paper.
A congratulations sentiment, some sprigs of pearls that i so totally love, fabric flowers and three pink flat backed pearls!
Oh, and last but not least i added a little sparkle to the dress using crystal stickles.

Phew that was a bit of a list :-)

I hope you like my creation for DT inspiration!

Best wishes

Anything Goes at creative Creations Challanges

Good Morning!

I hope you have had a wonderful Easter weekend and had a lovely weekend!

This fortnight we are sponsored by the lovely Betty Roberts of Simply Betty

Simply Betty Stamps

Today i am going to share with you my card for a friend.  It been a confusing time over at CCC one minute it is anything goes and then it changes to Easter so seeing as i have had a chest infection i have not had time to come up with anything new, i have stuck with the anything goes theme and unfortunately i have not been able to show you an image of Betty's for that reason....her work it absolutely fabulous and it is well worth having a look at here site there is always something to tempt you!

Wisely or not i decided to try using Promarkers for this challenge and although they were ok i have to say i am a Copic girl all the way!

Ok so Promarkers colours used are:

Dress Lipstick Red,Poppy,Ruby
Skin Satin,Ivory and Pale Pink for the cheeks
Butterflies Honeycomb, bright orange and mustard
Hair caramel, sandstone, cinnamon and henna
gloves soft peach and sunkissed pink

Although i am happy with the card i feel the colouring would have come out better if i had stuck to my trusted Copics, especially where the hair colours were concerned.... but we have to push our boundaries on occasions dont we?

I used Teresa Collins Sprin Fling 6x6 paper pad
Kraft card
cream lace
sentiment stamp
mulberry flowers and a spellbinder nestabilities in floral ovals

I hope you like my card and am entering it into the following challenges:
