One Stitch at a Time #196

Hi there and welcome to a new year and for many a new start or new resolution....I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas and New year?  I had a slight hiccup but am now raring to go and leaving my throubles behind!

So welcome to another lovely challenge for you at OSAAT for the very first time in 2014!

and the theme this week is USE A DIGI

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet
with a complete set of images that we used in challenge #194
and the runner up gets a $3 prize.
But to win main prize you have to use a digi available from the site .

The image i was given the chance to play with is Train spotting by Scrappers Delights and  is available at the Stitchy Bear Outlet

Well i decide to cheer my little boy up with a new room hanger which he fell in love with straight away.....the glitter glue barely had time to dry!  He has been having a tough time at school and i like to cheer him up in little ways whenever i can.

I put a light blue backing paper over the whole door hanger and then put a strip of black shiny card on the top and bottom.

I matted and layered the image firstly onto black shiny card and then onto some lovely blue patterned handmade paper.

\i then wrote Charlie in Martha Stewart Tourmaline glitter glue.

I then finished off with quite a few different coloured blues and silvers and grey candy.

I used the following Copics to colour my image and although this wasn't the greatest of papers it didn't do too bad it only bled a little so had to be very careful.

Stool N 1, 3, 4
Skin E 000, 00, 01, R 20 cheeks
Hat/ dungarees B 91, 93, 95, 97,37
Pockets B 32, 34
Shirt BG 70, 72,
Tie R 02, 35, 37
Shoes E 13, 16, 17
Hair E 03 07, 08
Eyes G 20, 24
Smoke W 000, 00
Train track C 2, 3, 5
Train R 000, 22, 24, 29
Trees G 3, 7, 9
Logs E 33, 37, 39

Hope you like what you see and i will be entering into the following challenges:

Many thanks
