Colouring with copics for the first time

So have managed to personalise my blog to a point now i just have to figure how to upload pics etc...that is so gonna be fun!

Any way i have recently had a class at stamp and craft in colouring with promarkers that can also be used for your copics.  Totally enjoyed it and Beth was really helpful. One of the main basics in colouring is you start with your dark colour first wherver the shading is darkest and lay that colour down first using small strokes.  Then you use your mid colour brushing again with strokes over the  dark colour and onto the next area you want to cover (so basically you always go over the work you have already done). And last but not least you go over eith your lightest colour.  Take an overall look at your stamped image and then add any finishing touches to it. This was the total opposite to what i had already been taught and was a bit sceptical to start with.  The blending was really good and better than what i had already done in the past.  Any way the result was the above Kenny K didgistamp that i coloured with copics and made into a 16th birthday card for my son.  He liked it so much he framed it!

Thats it for today more to come!
