For the one you Love on her birthday!
A beautiful jewellery box to give to her!
I used a plain wooden box that originally had a glass top but was broken in transit so i gave it a vellum top Do Crafts glitter Arlington Vellum
I then edged the top edge and lid with cream lace and then a layer of velvet ribbon
and last but not least a layer of pearls all around the outside of the box.
I added Tim Holtz Ideology box feet
and trimmed the top with ribbon throughout the sections
I used First Edition Day dreams papers for layering
and added a cream lace doilie and gardenia to the top left of the magnolia image which was coloured in using Copics and the roses are edged with clear glitter pen. And last but not least for the image i added star rhinestones.
Copic colours used:
Skin E00 E11 E21 and R01
Hair E29 E27 E25 E21
Clothing R22 R21 R20 R00 R02
Grass/leaves G85 YG67 YG63
Arbour E87 E84 E81
Flowers Y26 Y23 Y21
Background B000 B60 B32 B63
The gardenia was dipped in flitter glu and i used silver gilding flakes to give it a silver edge to the petals.
I hope you like my jewellery box and look forward to you visiting my blog again.
